I bought my last "Major" American owned beer on saturday. I am now only going to buy beer from micro-brewers.

America is, and has been, for sale for a long time now. We bitch about no jobs but we have no problem going to Wal-Mart to buy things made in China that used to be made in the USA. In addition to not buying beer from "major" brewers, I am going to start buying what I need or want from garage and yard sales.

I really don't care if it is used or a little beat-up. If it is what I am looking for and made in the U.S.A. I'll buy it and forget about supporting Chin Ling and his family. Who's with me?

While perhaps not consumed, InBev will own a large minority share of all the breweries listed in the article, however indirect that ownership may be. The Craft Brewers Alliance and others may find InBev to be a very different partner which could influence their business practices (see articles on the disastrous potential impact if A-B had not renewed its agreement with Redhook).

A-B has a minority stake in Craft Brewers Alliance (mainly Redhook and Widmer). Calling them future members of the InBev family makes it sounds like they will be consumed by InBev.
