Sure, the beer list is impressive. But 2/3 that list is $8+ and a third is $10+. This is by far the priciest beer bar I've ever seen. No thanks, especially in such a beer rich city. And to me, the place also lacks what the Irish call Craic and the Germans call Gemütlichkeit.

We received a different explanation but in any event I imagine it'll get resolved soon enough.

Last night our waitress said that the mouse pad/table issue was that the tables were too slippery - it's not so much to protect the table as it is to keep glasses and dishes from sliding right off the table! It's unusual to complain that the tables at a bar aren't sticky enough, but that seems to be exactly the case here. She also said some refinishing was scheduled to happen soon.

The opening beer list is stunning, but I'm more curious to see where it ends up when it settles down a bit (has the ball-jar special arrived yet?)
